4 real?! uhhh

You know you are losing your mind when you go to the grocery store and fill your cart to the brim, checkout, go to pay and don't have your wallet {or any recollection of where it is}!?! WTH?

My explanation to the cashier as I'm digging in my purse," I am really sorry, ma'am. I am pregnant and losing my mind."

She responds,"Oh, honey it only gets worse."

Hey, at least I'm honest.

Whitney, Hilarious! I did that exact thing just about a month ago, my groceries had all been scanned in and there was like 4 people behind me, way embarassing! I had to wait for Mike to bring my wallet up to the store. I felt like an idiot!

And your face goes kinda red and you get a little warm? Oh yeah, I've been there. And I have to say that it does get worse. Just get used to needing to write everything down and losing your memory from now on.

Whitney, that totally happened to me today, except I realized it before I actually checked out. I switched purses and totally forgot to switch my wallet over as well. I wish had an excuse but I don't!

Oh and it does! The other day I loaded the car with the 2 babies and the other kid I nanny and drove far to a store then hauled everyone in and shopped and went to pay to find I had left my wallet at home! At least we have a good excuse!

Whitney, it was so fun to finally meet you at Nate and Alli's wedding! And this post is hilarious. Sorry to say, though, it does not get better. After 3 kids, my short-term memory is gone. I used to make fun of my mom for her absentmindedness, but now take it all back! Oh, the spacey things I do these days...

Congrats Whitney! I was slow to hear the news! I'm excited for you and expect to recieve an invitation to your baby shower (when that time comes)! Take care and enjoy the excuse to take naps and eat when/what you want (sorry the Mexican isn't good anymore, just wait until you start craving gross stuff...I craved Taco Bell and hot dogs! Ewww!)
