boring and perfect.

I have not made one purchase for the little bambino yet, however I have started to look at the necessities to figure out just how much this child is going to cost. Of all the things I have looked at (not very many), I know I want this:

------Behold the Orbit Stroller------
One minor detail: the cost. $900. A girl can dream though, right? I showed Joel and he about coughed up a lung. He knew I had expensive taste, but a $900 stroller?

If I pray hard enough do you think I will get it?

Just tactfully ask whoever is throwing you a shower to put on the invites that you're accepting donations for a stroller, something like that. :)

All I have to say is No way! You will not use it enough to even justify it Whit. It looks cute, but you can totally find cheaper and something that works just fine. Even $200-300 which I think is still alot.

I think you should get.... your deserve it right? Just ask your mom for it. By the way I saw her driving the other day, she didn't see me so I didn't wave.

Hey, I just stumbled onto your blog - I found it from Laurie Kunz's...it's Brie (Brown) Breivik. I love your blog, it's so fun! Congrats on being prego, trust me, the belly will keep getting bigger...but you look adorable already. :)

PS The Fiber One bars TOTALLY work!

The stroller I have used most cost under $40. It's a small Jeep brand umbrella stroller that folds super easy and stays permanently in the back of my car, perfect for the mall, parks, airports, etc. Then I use my jogger at home. Neither one cost $900, and I bet you'd rather spend the extra cash elsewhere. Just my opinion.

Oh, you HAVE to get that stroller. Didn't you know that the more you spend on baby stuff, the better the parent you are? If you want to be a good mom, you need this stroller. ;)

All I have to say is you can spend millions buying the stroller alone. We have a new-born stroller, a WONDERFUL jogging stroller (may I recommend the BOB?), a bike trailer/stroller, and I need another stroller for our upcoming trip. I don't know anyone who uses just one. One tiny baby-so many accessories. It is fun though, huh?

Okay it looks like you need to read the book by Pamela Paul called "Parenting, Inc.: How We Are Sold on $800 Strollers, Fetal Education, Baby Sign Language, Sleeping Coaches, Toddler Couture, and Diaper Wipe Warmers-and What It Means for Our Children". I've heard it's really enlightening and it will help you keep your head out of the clouds when you buy all the baby stuff. Because I'll tell you a secret - you don't need half the stuff the stores tell you you do!
