New Morning Fav

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

1 banana
5-6 strawberries
1/2 c. milk
5 ice cubes
1 tsp sugar or to taste
Optional: protein powder or flax

Blend in a blender for 30 seconds to 1 minute. Serve.

Yummy.

We have a wonderful version of this, in which you break a banana into a few pieces, put them in a ziploc bag, and throw it in the freezer overnight. Then use the frozen banana in the smoothie, which has a great flavor, and you can eliminate the ice cubes. We also use a few Tbsp of yogurt instead of milk. Smoothies are the best!
