Of course I felt sexy as I huffed and puffed and waddled by huge self up the 2 flights of stairs at work, what are you talking about? I am sure you will be beautiful and sexy your whole pregancy. You won't feel it, but you will look it :).
I've never been able to feel the "glow" myself; but its easier to see in others for some reason. Does anyone feel sexy everyday? Pregnant or not? If so, I want to know her plastic surgeon, personal trainer, therapist, massage therapist, personal sylist and chef! Take care Whitney! I'm sure you look beautiful!
I'm pretty sure I didn't say you would "feel" that way, but I did say and (I was being honest) that you "look pretty". I don't know very many pregnant ladies that "feel" pretty. It is generally not a fun time.
No, I never felt pretty when I was pregnant. When I was working at MAC and pregnant with Stella, I was doing a lady's makeup and mentioned something about maternity leave and she said "I thought you were pregnant but I didn't want to say anything just in case you weren't." So in other words, I look like a huge obese person when I am pregnant. I would love another child, but I never want to be pregnant again.
I most certainly did not feel any of those things early on when I just looked wider and bigger NOT prego. But now that I actually look like I am carrying a baby I do have an occasional day when I feel -maybe not sexy - yeah not ever- but pretty good. But truly there is something marvelous about a pregnant woman. Everything time I see another pregnant woman no matter how big or small I just think it is wonderful!
So I actually did feel sexy when I was pregnant. Maybe I'm the weirdo, but I honestly started feeling that way once people could tell I was prenant. So up until then, no. So maybe it might change once you're really showing. Also a lot has to do with the clothes. It's sad to admit, but I love pregnant clothes, if you find the right kind that totally doesn't look like they belong to the maternity section.
I am sure you look just as beautiful as can be. I know that I felt just yucky and bloated all of the time. I basically felt like I had just gotten done eating a full on Thanksgiving dinner pretty much the whole time I was pregnant. I felt full ALL of the time and I was so sad because I always looked forward to pregnancy for the mere fact that I could eat whatever. Not the case, a couple bites and I was done.
It is one of life's mysteries that pregnant women look cute, unless you are the pregnant woman. I could never figure out why other pregnant women look cute, but I just felt fat. That said, get some really cute maternity clothes and that will help you feel a little better. There is some cute stuff out there.

I don't think I ever made such a claim. :) Sorry, no good news on that front here!

Who ever said that was lying. I know all I ever felt was huge, fat, and tired.

whitney, whitney, whitney....
it's just going to get even more fun!
tell me if you feel sexy 3 months from now... you won't!
But at least you don't have to stress about having a flat tummy - that was my favorite part.
Yeah, I'm still waiting for the "glow" people talk about. Mabye they're referring to the oil slick that has taken over my face....
You'll always be gorgeous, don't you worry!
i never felt pretty while pregnant, and CERTAINLY NEVER EVER felt vibrant.
weirdos who say those things!
Well, I have to say that I think pregnant women are quite cute, but I'm SURE that I won't feel that way about myself when I'm pregnant!
